Looking at the pictures of this backpack, it seems smaller than it actually is. I'm not sure if it's something related to the many "spikes" that make it seem visually smaller, but it definitely is as big as it says regarding the size of the laptop the description says it will hold. I ordered it for my son who is 6'7" and 350lbs, but if I included a picture of it on his back, it wouldn't look kind of small ?He has a 15" Dell gaming laptop, which is a bit thicker than typical laptops. This backpack holds it with no issue, as shown in the attached picture. I also put my Asus 16" laptop in the pocket and it also had enough room for its additional length. It has some other features that surprised me. The look of this thing up close is way more impressive than even the pictures can really show. The material has several subtle color differences and also the textures are really cool. You can visually see the textures in addition to how they feel. When I first showed it to him, he said it will make him look like Bowser. If you're familiar with Nintendo's Bowser character, you may see the irony in that, considering the size of my son. He really will look like Bowser ?Some of the things that impressed me were how well-constructed the shoulder straps are, as well as how long they extend, the interior water bottle mesh holder and how it has two external zipper pockets that are integrated into the design. The interior liner also shows an attention to detail. My travel backpack for the last 20 years is a THULE and I also have had an OGIO for day-to-day use for over 10 years, so I have a decent idea of good backpack design. Before I received it, the asking price seemed a bit high, but now that I have it in hand, I feel as though it is a fair price. Whether or not you are 6'7", you will get noticed wearing this backpack and I'm guessing that is the main goal.
