I spent 3 months trying to find the right Bugout, hiking, survival, tactical backpack that was a true 40 liter and I finally found it. I purchased 2 other Condor packs before this one. The description of Conodr products is always accurate. I was not sure of exact size pack I would want at the time of my first purchase so I started with a Condor 50 liter that I got a an Army and Navy store. I realized immediately that it was way too big so I returned it. I wanted to down scale to a 40 liter but problem was that Condor only offered a 34 liter on Amazon. I figured I would try my luck. This backpack was just a little too small for my intended use but I kept it because it is a really great bag and still holds a lot of stuff.***I then tried several of brand names that claimed to offer a "40 liter" pack. All of them were terrible and all of the item descriptions were lies. Reebow, Gelindo, and Orca are not good. I noticed something about each of their backpacks as well. If you compare each of their design you can notice that all of those packs are literally the same make, build and design just with a different name. It's as if someone created a generic blueprint and leased it out to a bunch of different companies looking to make a quick buck.***Condor is one of the only brands that I could find that stool out from the rest. The pack related to this review in particular happened to be exactly what I was searching for. This pack is as it's item description claims. A real 40 liter with the option to also be a 50 liter because it is literally 2 bags in one. The main bag is 40 liter with a detachable 10 liter bag. I could go on for pages giving this pack the best review, but I am going to stop here.Seriously buy this if you are looking for an extremely versatile 40/50 liter backpack that is durable, priced correctly, and works well with other molle attachable items. All Condor products are great and work great with each other.
