I love the design of this - it was very well thought out. The measurements of it will fall within TSA guidelines for your personal item on a plane. It is made out of very durable material. It is like a cross between a suitcase and a backpack. I love the fact that you can open it up all the way to access the inside rather than having to load from the top like a backpack. The main compartment on one side features a big zip pocket that covers about half of it's area. The other side has a pouch across the whole width of it, a zipper mesh pocket, and a couple more pouches suitable for a pen and a notepad or phone. The main area also has a separate large pocket that you access through a zipper on the bottom of the tote. This is to put shoes into to have a separate place for them where they won't get other things dirty. The inside also has a place to plug in a battery charger for your phone, with access on the outside to plug your phone into - a brilliant idea!! The outside features a large padded zipper pocket that covers the whole width of the bottom half of the back. The back also has the trolley sleeve so that you can put it down over the handle of a suitcase to transport them together. The top has a heavy padded handle. One side has the port for your phone as mentioned before, and the other side has a pouch for a water bottle. The front has a side zipper compartment on the top and a top zip compartment on the bottom. Each side has two areas where there are straps with snaps for added protection on the sides. The shoulder straps are padded with mesh underneath and wide for comfort. They are very well sewn and adjustable. There is a strap with snap in the front to put across your chest if desired to help hold it in place. I had to play with it a little bit because at first the straps were digging into the front of my underarms, but I was able to adjust it so it was comfortable.
